Featuring a custom vignette of Phenix Village, Rhode Island, with a portrait of bank founder and president William B. Spencer at left. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co., New York and Philadelphia.

Cut-cancelled on the president’s signature. Also, punch-cancelled on the signature of H.D. Brown, cashier. The majority of surviving issued notes from this institution are cancelled in this way.
