“National Banknote Company. Full red-orange tint lathe across bottom two-thirds with micro-pattern and titles. Top center, Adriatic on high seas as used on ‘’Dix’’ notes. Upper corners, intricate dies. Superb color scheme and vignette contrast. There is a short India paper tear at the top left edge. Faint wisps of age foxing, but overall very vibrant and fresh.”
