Cumberland Bank

This bank was organized in Cumberland Hill Village, Rhode Island, in 1823. W. Jillson was its first president, Alexander Ballou its first cashier.

The institution was housed in the Amos Cook House on Cumberland Hill (not to be confused with the Amos Cooke House of Scituate).

It became the Cumberland National Bank in 1865 and was liquidated on June 5, 1885.
