Greenwich Bank, East Greenwich

Incorporated in May of 1856 with a capital of $50,000. Henry Sweet was its first president, S.M. Knowles its first cashier.

Reorganized as the Greenwich National Bank in july, 1865.

Absorbed by the Manufacturers Trust Company on April 3, 1900.
