Haxby lists as SENC and Bowers as “None Known.” This note has an American Banknote Company mark at top right, as well as a Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear & Co. imprint at bottom.

Serial #9. Signed by William Olney, cashier, and Shubael Hutchins, president.

The oval portrait at the bottom right is of Henry P. Franklin, the first president of the bank.
